Removing Locks on Metastore Instances

Remove the locks applied to your metastore instances.

Note

You can remove locks only if you're an administrator or a user with Manage permissions.
  1. On the Data Catalog service page, select Metastores. If you need help finding the Metastores page, see Listing Metastores.
  2. On the Metastores page, select the Actions menu (three dots) for the instance for which you want to remove the lock and select Apply lock.
  3. In the Manage lock dialog box, clear the lock options. For more information about the options, see Applying Locks to Metastore Instances.
  4. Select Close.
