APM Synthetic Monitoring Updates

The following Synthetic Monitoring new features and updates have been released:

  1. SQL and FTP monitor types are now available.
    • SQL monitor can be used to measure the performance of a SQL query allowing the user to spot any availability or load time issues.
    • FTP monitor can be used to measure the performance of FTP operations allowing the user to spot any availability or latency issues.

  2. JavaScript creation. You can create a JavaScript if selecting the Create Script option available when creating a REST monitor. This script can be used as a starting point for a scripted REST monitor. For information, see Create a Monitor.
  3. Enhancements to View HAR option when viewing the monitor history. You can now hide/show http requests based on http status, request type, duration, and more. You can also choose a consolidated page headers view or hide the page headers. For details, see View Monitor History.
