Setting the Preferred Client for Desktop Access
Select the client to use when opening the desktop. By default, Secure Desktops uses the web client.
- In the Secure Desktops interface, click Preferences in the left navigation.
- Select the preferred client from the list, either the Installed Client or Web Client.
- If you select Installed Client, ensure you have downloaded and installed the desktop client before connecting to your desktop.
What's the difference between the web client and installed client?

Web client: Connects to the virtual desktop directly through a browser. You don't need to install anything.
The web client doesn't support:
- Audio in and out
- Camera access
- Client drive mapping

Installed client: Connects to the virtual desktop through an application installed on your local system. The installed client provides full access to the desktop.
