Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts on a Windows virtual desktop differ from a local Windows system. Secure Desktops supports several keyboard shortcuts on Windows desktops.
Keyboard Shortcut | Description |
---|---|
Ctrl+Alt+End | Displays the Windows Security dialog box. Same as pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del on a local Windows system. |
Alt+Page Up | Switches between windows, from left to right. Same as pressing Alt+Tab on a local Windows system. |
Alt+Page Down | Switches between windows, from right to left. Same as pressing Alt+Shift+Tab on a local Windows system. |
Alt+Insert | Cycles through windows, in the order they were opened. Same as pressing Alt+Esc on a local Windows system. |
Alt+End | Displays the Windows Start menu. Same as pressing the Windows key on a local Windows system. |
Alt+Delete | Displays the pop-up menu for the current window. |
Ctrl+Alt+Minus | Use the Minus (-) key on the numeric keypad. Places a snapshot of the active client window on the virtual desktop clipboard. Same as pressing Alt+PrintScrn on a local Windows system. |
Ctrl+Alt+Plus | Use the Plus (+) key on the numeric keypad. Places a snapshot of the entire client window area on the virtual desktop clipboard. Same as pressing PrintScrn on a local Windows system. |
Ctrl+Alt+Break | Switches the virtual desktop in and out of full-screen mode. Useful when you want to open applications outside of Secure Desktops. This key combination requires a full keyboard. Compact and notebook keyboards might not include a dedicated Pause/Break key. |
