OpenSearch Version 3.6 Support

OCI Search with OpenSearch now supports OpenSearch version 3.6, enabling you to create new clusters or upgrade eligible existing clusters to the latest supported OpenSearch version.

This release includes new capabilities for AI-powered search, observability, ingestion, vector search, and query analysis, including Agent-v2, Application Performance Monitoring, generally available pull-based ingestion, vector search improvements, and enhanced Query Insights.

You can create new clusters with OpenSearch 3.6 or upgrade eligible existing OpenSearch clusters to use the latest supported capabilities. For more information, see Upgrading Search with OpenSearch Cluster Software.
