Managing IDCS Federated Resources in the OCI Console Is Being Deprecated

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Identity and Access Management (IAM) support for managing Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) federated resources through the OCI Console is ending. See the IAM service change announcement Managing IDCS Federated Resources in the OCI Console is Being Deprecated.

PaaS Service Instance Creation

  • Impact on PaaS Service Instance Creation: When support for managing IDCS federated resources in the OCI Console is deprecated, users who sign in through federation can't create the following PaaS service instances:
    • Access Governance
    • Application Migration Service (AMS)
    • Block Chain
    • Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW)
    • Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)
    • Oracle Content Management (OCM)
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    • Oracle Process Automation (OPA)
    • Oracle Robotic Process Automation (ORPA)
    • Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
    • Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio)
  • How to Create the PaaS Instances: To create PaaS instances after deprecation, use the Console.
    1. Sign in to the appropriate identity domain using the Console.
    2. Create the respective PaaS instance.
