Starting September 15, 2026, OTP messages sent to Spain phone numbers with the
country code +34 no longer include customer-friendly names.

Beginning September 15, 2026, OTP messages sent to phone numbers in Spain
(+34) no longer include customer-friendly names.
The SMS message uses the following format:
Your verification code is 123456.
Does This Impact Me?
This change impacts customers who send OTP messages to phone numbers in Spain (+34). Recipients will no longer see a customer-friendly name in the OTP message.
What Do I Need to Do?
No action is required to continue sending or receiving OTP messages. If you have documentation, user communications, or processes that reference the customer-friendly name in OTP messages, update them to reflect the new SMS format.
