Kubernetes Nodes

The Kubernetes Nodes dashboard provides an overview of node readiness, resource capacity, and pod placement. Use it to identify resource pressure, review node configuration, compare total and allocatable resources, and locate nodes with failed or pending pods. The log distribution helps you identify the sources contributing to node log activity.

Here's the list of widgets displayed in the Kubernetes Nodes dashboard:

Widget Description
Nodes Shows the number of Kubernetes nodes.
Node Status Lists each node's latest reported readiness status, start time, record count, and disk, memory, and PID pressure conditions. Use it to identify nodes that aren't ready or are experiencing resource pressure.
Node Info Lists node configuration details, including architecture, operating system image, kernel, container runtime, kubelet version, and kube-proxy version.
Logs Shows the distribution of log records associated with the nodes by Kubernetes component and operating system log source. Use it to identify the sources generating the most node-related log data.
Pods running on a Node Shows the distribution of pods across nodes and groups them by pod status. Use it to compare pod activity between nodes and identify unusual concentrations.
Failed/Pending Pods per Node Shows nodes that have pods in the Failed or Pending state and the distribution of those states on each node. Use it to identify nodes associated with pod scheduling or runtime failures.
Node Capacity Lists the total CPU, memory, storage, and pod capacity reported for each node. Use it to compare the maximum resources available across nodes.
Node Allocatable Lists the CPU, memory, storage, and pod resources on each node that Kubernetes can allocate to workloads after system reservations. Compare it with node capacity when assessing available workload resources.
