Set Background Execution Preferences

You can configure default settings for background executions, including the result format, OCI compartment, and Object Storage bucket. You can do this from Preferences, or when executing a statement or script in the background.

  1. In the left navigation pane, expand Settings and select Preferences.

    The Preferences pane appears.

  2. Select the Worksheet tab.
  3. Under Background Executions, specify the following values:
    • Preferred results format: Select JSON or CSV.
    • Compartment: Select the OCI compartment that contains the Object Storage bucket.
    • Preferred bucket: Select the Object Storage bucket used to store execution results.

    These settings are used as the default values whenever you run a statement or script in the background.
