Creating a Model Version Set

Create a model version set in Data Science.

A model version set contains many entries, where each entry is a model reference (OCID). It includes fields for capturing version information for each version of a model.

  1. From the Data Science models page, select Create model version set. If you need help finding the list of models, see Listing Models.

The create model version set page appears.

  2. Select the compartment to create the version set in.
  3. Enter the name for the version set.
The name must be unique within the compartment.
  4. (Optional) Enter a description to help you find the model version set.
  5. Select the models to add to the version set by selecting the checkbox next to each model.

Only models that aren't in a version set are available for selection. The version numbers are automatically generated for each model that you add. They're assigned according to when the models were created, with the oldest having the lowest version number and the most recent having the highest number.

  6. (Optional) Enter a version label for each model selected.
  7. (Optional) Select Show Advanced Options to add tags.
  8. (Optional) In the Tags section, add one or more tags to the <resourceType>. If you have permissions to create a resource, then you also have permissions to apply free-form tags to that resource. To apply a defined tag, you must have permissions to use the tag namespace. For more information about tagging, see Resource Tags. If you're not sure whether to apply tags, skip this option or ask an administrator. You can apply tags later.
  9. Select Create.
