Changing the Reporting Region
To change the Cloud Guard reporting region, you must disable Cloud Guard and then re-enable it with a different reporting region.
The Cloud Guard reporting region is not the same thing as the OCI home region.
Disabling Cloud Guard deletes all the existing targets, user-managed detector and responder recipes, and other customizations. If you later decide to re-enable Cloud Guard, these customizations can't be recovered, but must be re-created.
- Follow the instructions in Disabling Cloud Guard.
- Wait at least 6 minutes.
- Follow the instructions in Re-Enabling Cloud Guard.

Use the oci cloud-guard configuration update command and required parameters to update the details of the configuration for a Cloud Guard tenancy, to change the reporting region for Cloud Guard:
