Create Applications with Oracle APEX in Autonomous AI Database

You can create applications with Oracle APEX on Autonomous AI Database.

  • Access Oracle APEX Administration Services

    Each Autonomous AI Database instance includes a dedicated instance of Oracle APEX; you can use this instance to create multiple workspaces. A workspace is a shared work area where you can build applications. You create workspaces in Oracle APEX Administration Services.

  • Create Oracle APEX Workspaces in Autonomous AI Database

    An Autonomous AI Database instance does not have pre-created Oracle APEX workspaces. Create a workspace if you have not already done so or use these instructions to create additional workspaces.

  • Access Oracle APEX App Builder

    Use App Builder to create and manage Oracle APEX applications and application pages. The App Builder home page displays all installed applications in the current Oracle APEX workspace.

When a new Oracle APEX release becomes available in your region, for example, APEX 24.2.0, you have a choice when to apply this upgrade within the 45-day upgrade window. You can optionally extend this window to 90 days.

    By default, access to Oracle APEX apps, REST endpoints and built-in database tools on Autonomous AI Database is through the oraclecloudapps.com domain name. You may optionally configure a vanity URL (ie. a custom domain) that is more relevant for your organization or project.
