Deleting a Container Image Target

Delete a target.

• Deleting a target doesn't delete the cloud resources (Compute instances, for example) in the target.

  1. Open the navigation menu and select Identity & Security. Under Scanning, select Targets.
  2. Select the Compartment that contains your target.
  3. Select the Container image tab for the type of target that you want to delete.
  4. Select the name of the target.
  5. Select Delete.
  6. Confirm the deletion.

• Use the oci vulnerability-scanning container scan target delete command and required parameters to delete the container scan target identified by the target ID:

  oci vulnerability-scanning container scan target delete [OPTIONS]

• Run the DeleteContainerScanTarget operation to delete the container scan target identified by the target ID.
