OpenSearch

Using the OpenSearch subject area, you can create reports about OpenSearch resources.

With these reports, you can track the different attributes and metrics for OpenSearch resources across tenancies and compartments.

Business Questions

The subject area can answer the following business questions:

  • What is the total number of OpenSearch clusters and their associated details?
  • What is the total number of OpenSearch cluster backups and their associated details?
  • Which compartment and region does my cluster belong to?
  • What is the size of my cluster backup?
  • What is the total storage used by my cluster?
  • What is the total number of nodes in my cluster?
  • What is the total ocpu count of the nodes in my cluster?
  • What is the total memory of the nodes in my cluster?
  • How many backups does each OpenSearch cluster have?
  • What is the current lifecycle state of each OpenSearch cluster?
  • When was each OpenSearch cluster created, or last modified?

Logical Model

The OpenSearch subject area is based on a relationship-driven logical model.

An OpenSearch Cluster fact table is connected to the following dimension tables:

Fact table Opensearch Cluster connected to seven dimension tables, Tenancy, Compartment, Date, Region, VCN, VCN Subnet, and Opensearch Cluster.

An OpenSearch Cluster Backup fact table is connected to the following dimension tables:

Fact table Opensearch Cluster Backup connected to six dimension tables, Tenancy, Compartment, Date, Region, Opensearch Cluster, and Opensearch Cluster Backup.

Metric Details

The fact folders in this subject area show the following metrics:
