Announcements
OCI Announcements communicates service-status information and supports subscriptions that deliver selected announcements through configured notification channels. The Announcements Service subject area tracks announcement subscriptions and their associated Notifications topics, with lifecycle state, configured Preferred Language and Preferred Time Zone values, and tenancy, compartment, and region context.
Business Questions
The subject area can answer the following business questions:
- How many announcement subscriptions are recorded by tenancy, compartment, and region?
- Which Notifications topics are associated with announcement subscriptions?
- How are subscriptions distributed by lifecycle state?
- Which Preferred Language and Preferred Time Zone values are configured for announcement subscriptions?
- Which subscriptions were created during a selected period, and which have a recorded last update in that period?
For creation-period analysis, filter Announcements Service Announcement Subscription.Time Created. For the recorded last update, filter Announcements Service Announcement Subscription.Time Updated. The Date folder filters the warehouse fact Time Key; it does not filter either resource timestamp or reconstruct an earlier resource state.
Logical Model
The subscription fact joins announcement subscriptions, Notifications topics, Compartment, Date, Region, Tenancy, and subscription fact details.
Metric Details
The following metrics are exposed in the presentation fact folders. Count measures count stored fact records selected by the report filters, using the fact key. They do not calculate distinct resource IDs.
