Moving a Job

Move a job in Batch to a different compartment in the same tenancy.

When you move a job, all tasks that belong to the job move with the job.

1. On the Batch contexts list page, select the batch context that contains the job pool with the job that you want to move. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Batch Contexts.
2. On the batch context details page, select the Job pools tab.
3. Select the job pool that contains the job that you want to move.
4. On the job pools details page, select the Jobs tab.
5. Select the Actions menu (three dots) for the job that you want to move, and then select Move resource.
6. In the Move resource panel, select the destination compartment from the list.
Use the oci batch batch-job-pool change-compartment command and required parameters to move a job to a different compartment in the same tenancy.
