Firewall Creation Fails

Troubleshoot issues when creating a firewall.

There are various reasons that firewall creation can fail, including permissions issues, network issues, or exceeding the resource limits for your tenancy.

Review the create firewall work request to identify cause of failure

  1. On the navigation menu, click Identity & Security. Under Firewalls, click Network Firewalls.
  2. In the Firewalls list, click the failed firewall.
  3. In Resources, click Work Requests.
  4. Click the name of the work request to view its details.
