Creating an Approval Template

Create a workflow in Oracle Managed Access that routes approval for access requests from service representatives.

  • Create the users and groups required to approve support requests.
  • Ensure all approver users, and all users in groups, have verified their emails. Oracle Managed Access can't send notifications to unverified email addresses.
    1. Open the navigation menu and click Identity & Security on the main menu, and then click Managed Access.
    2. Click Approval templates, and then click Create approval template.
    3. Enter a name for the template. Avoid entering confidential information.
    4. (Optional) Change the compartment.
    5. Select Enable auto-approval to automatically approve access requests that use this template. When using auto-approval, you don't set up specific approvers.
    6. To select specific users or groups, in the Approvers section select the following:
      • Domain: Select the managed domain.
      • Type: Select a user or group.
      • Name: Select the user or group name that receive notifications.
    7. (Optional) Click Additional approver to add another approver. You can add a maximum of three approvers.
    8. Click Create approval template.
