Canceling an Import or Export Job

Cancel an in-progress export from a File Storage with Lustre file system or import from Object Storage.

When you cancel a job, all further transfers stop. Files that were successfully copied before the cancellation remain in place. You can view the job details to see the status of the work completed before cancellation.

Using the Console

On the Lustre file systems list page, select the file system that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing File Systems.
On the file system details page, select Object Storage links.
All Object Storage links in the file system are displayed.
Select the link that's being used to import or export data.
Select Jobs.
From the list of jobs, select the operation that you want to cancel.
On the job's details page, select Cancel.

Using the API

Run the StopImportFromObject or StopExportToObject operation with required attributes to cancel an import or export job.

Using the CLI

To cancel an export job, use the oci lfs object-storage-link stop-export-to-object command:

oci lfs object-storage-link stop-export-to-object --object-storage-link-id [OPTIONS]

To cancel an import job, use the oci lfs object-storage-link stop-import-from-object command:

oci lfs object-storage-link stop-import-from-object --object-storage-link-id [OPTIONS]
