Deleting a Dedicated AI Cluster in Generative AI

Delete a dedicated AI cluster in OCI Generative AI.

Note

A dedicated AI cluster cannot be deleted if it is creating a custom model or hosting an active endpoint. To delete a cluster, you must first delete its associated resources. The delete action permanently deletes the cluster. This action can't be undone.

  1. In the navigation bar of the Console, select a region with Generative AI, for example, US Midwest (Chicago) or UK South (London). See which models are offered in your region.
  2. Open the navigation menu  and select Analytics & AI. Under AI Services, select Generative AI.
  3. Select the compartment that contains the dedicated AI cluster that you want to delete.
  4. Click Dedicated AI clusters.
  5. Click the name of the dedicated AI cluster that you want to delete.
  6. Click Delete.
  7. Type delete to confirm.
  8. Click Delete dedicated AI cluster.
