Adding Resources to a Fleet Manually

Filter and add resources to a fleet manually in Fleet Application Management.

    1. Open the navigation menu and click Observability & Management. Under Fleet Application Management, click Fleets.
    2. Click the name of the fleet that you want.
      Tip

      To find a fleet by name, enter its name in the Search field.
    3. Under Resources, click Add resources and then perform the following steps in the Add resources dialog box:
      1. Select the compartment  that contains the resources that you want to add.
      2. Click Resource property to open the Select Property dialog box.
      3. Select a resource type from the list, for example, Compute, Oracle Database, or DB systems. Provide the corresponding property and value for the resource type. Add more resource properties as needed.

      4. After adding resource properties, click Add property filter.
      5. Click Tags to open the Select tags dialog box.
      6. Select a tag namespace, a tag key, and then enter a tag value. Add more tags as needed.
      7. After adding Tagging information, click Add tags filter.
      8. Click Search.
        The resources that match the criteria appear.
        • To reset the resources filter, repeat filling in the field values, and then click Reset search.
        • To add resources, select the checkbox next to the resources and click Select.
        Tip

        To find a resource by name, enter its name in the Search field.
      9. Click Add resources.
    The resources that you manually select, and their resource types appear under Add resources.
  • Use the oci fleet-apps-management fleet-resource create command and required parameters to add resources to a fleet:

    oci fleet-apps-management fleet-resource create [OPTIONS]
