What's Next After Onboarding?
After you complete the Oracle Database@Google Cloud onboarding tasks, you can do the following:
Provision Database Resources
Start provisioning databases and infrastructure. See the following sections for more information:
- Autonomous Database Services
- Exadata Services (private offer deployments only)
After you provision database resources, you can verify that resource metering is working. Note that it can take up to 8 hours for Oracle Database@Google Cloud billing data to show up in OCI, and up to 56 hours for billing data to show in the Google Cloud Console.
Add Users (Non-Federated Accounts)
If you do not use identity federation, you can add more users in the OCI Console. See Overview of IAM and Managing Users for more information.
Register Users for My Oracle Support
Register Oracle Database@Google Cloud users with My Oracle Support (MOS) as needed. See Task 4: Register with My Oracle Cloud Support for instructions. Note that users created through identity federation do not automatically receive approval to open MOS service requests.
Subscribe to More OCI Regions
To provision database resources in an OCI region, you must be subscribed to that region in OCI. See Subscribing to an Infrastructure Region to subscribe to OCI regions beyond the region you onboarded in. If your tenancy's service limits for OCI region subscriptions has been reached, you can request a service limit increase to subscribe to additional regions. See Requesting a Service Limit Increase for information.
