Limitations
Following are the limitations of the OCC Capacity Management feature:
- Availability catalogs are not region specific and contain availability information for multiple regions. You can place a request for any region in the catalog from the onboarded tenancy region.
- Capacity requests cater to specific resources in specific regions based on the latest availability and constraints displayed in the availability catalog.
- Capacity requests are rejected in the following scenarios:
- Resources for the requested Expected Capacity Handover Date have expired, that is the corresponding Final Customer Order Date is in the past.
- Requested SERVER HW and quantity isn't available for that Expected Capacity Handover Date.
- CAPACITY CONSTRAINT restricts you from placing an order for the requested SERVER HW and quantity.
- You can cancel only submitted capacity requests.
- You can delete capacity requests in Created or Canceled state only.
- You must submit the capacity requests for the OCC operators to action the requests.
- You can't cancel or delete the capacity requests moved to In progress state.
- You can view an availability catalog after creating a capacity request.
