Automatically Backup Cluster Nodes

Create automatic node backups Big Data Service for cluster master, utility, and Edge nodes from the Cluster details page.

1. On the Clusters list page, select the cluster that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the cluster, see Listing Clusters in a Compartment.
2. On the Cluster details page, select Backup and Replace configurations.
3. Under Backup Configurations, select Create node backup configuration.
4. In the Create node backup configuration dialog box, enter a Display name.
5. Select the Level type. You can select Node level or Node type level.
6. If you select Node level, select a Host name.
7. If you select Node type level, select a Node type. You can select Master, Utility, or Edge.
8. Select the Schedule type, and enter the required information.
9. Select the Backup type.
10. Select Create.
Use the create-node-backup-configuration command and required parameters to configure automatic backup of a nodes.
