Editing a Web Application Firewall Policy

Update a web application firewall (WAF) policy's configuration.

When you edit a WAF policy, you can also update its tags. For more information about tagging, see Resource Tags.

From the Console, you can update only the name of a policy.
1. On the Policies list page, select the policy that you want to work with. If you need help finding the list page or the policy, see Listing Web Application Firewall Policies.
  The policy's details page opens.
2. On the WAF policy's details page, select Edit.
  The Edit policy panel opens.
3. Update the name of the policy.
4. Select Update.
Use the oci waf web-app-firewall-policy update command and required parameters to edit a web application firewall policy:
oci waf web-app-firewall-policy update --web-app-firewall-policy-id web_app_firewall_policy_ocid [OPTIONS]
