Editing a Cluster

Update the name of a cluster in an SDDC in VMware Solution.

Editing the cluster only lets you change the cluster's name. See the following topics to add, update, or delete ESXi hosts in the cluster:

1. Open the navigation menu , select Hybrid, and then select VMware Solution.
2. Click the name of the SDDC that contains the cluster. If you don't see the SDDC listed, ensure that the correct compartment is selected.
3. Click the name of the cluster you want to edit in the list.
4. Click Edit.
5. Update the name of the cluster, and then click Save changes. Cluster names can have a maximum of 22 characters.
Use the cluster-update command and required parameters to update a cluster.
oci ocvs cluster update --cluster-ID cluster_OCID ...[OPTIONS]
