Ensure users are synchronized across all replicas before creating keys. Use the listUsers command to verify user presence on all replicas. If users aren't synchronized, use the syncUser command.
Note

For all operations that need password, Dedicated KMS enforces password in hidden mode.

In the User Management utility, open a command prompt and run createUsercommand to create a Crypto User (CU) or Crypto Officer (CO). Password length must be in the range of 12 to 32 characters..

createUser <Usertype> <Username>
Parameter Description
Usertype Role assigned to the user (such as CO and CU) to perform user management operations
Username Name of user sign in to the HSM. Username must be <= 31 characters and can't contain any special characters except "_"
