Assigning a Domain Role

By default, every dynamic group is associated with the OCI IAM application. You can assign a domain role to that application to allow members of the dynamic group to perform certain actions with the identity domain.

  1. On the Dynamic Groups list page, select the checkbox next to the name of the dynamic group you want to update. If you need help finding the list page, see Listing Dynamic Groups.
  2. Select the dynamic group you want to update.
  3. Under Resources, select Domain roles.
  4. Under Domain roles, select the Actions menu (Actions Menu) for the OCI IAM application, and then select Manage roles.
  5. Select the checkbox for all the predefined domain roles that you want to assign to members of the dynamic group.
  6. When you're ready, select Save changes.
