Unexpected Configuration Changes to OCI File Storage Resources

You see access errors or behavior changes with a file system and want to identify who made the change and what changed.

For example, if you try to access a resource, you might see errors such as 'Permission denied' or 'No such file or directory.' You might also lose access to the file system (for example, an existing mount starts failing).

Cause: It's likely that another user made changes such as deleting a resource, updating export options, or changing network settings on the mount target's subnet or VCN. As a result, you might see unexpected configuration changes

Solution: Use OCI Audit Logs to see who made the change and when.

Use filters to narrow the search. For example, if a resource has been unavailable for the past hour, you can set Request action types to DELETE and Filter by time to Past hour.
